About
A Voice Shaped by Jazz, Blues, and Brazil
Georgie Aué is an Australian pianist, vocalist, and songwriter whose music blends jazz, blues, and the vibrant spirit of Brazilian rhythms. Her original songs move beyond traditional genre boundaries, creating a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly new — a warm, effortless fusion tied together by her distinctive voice and graceful touch at the piano.
Early Journey
Growing up in a musical family, Georgie’s love of music started early. By eight, she was already competing in jazz piano and vocal eisteddfods.
At 19, she studied Jazz Performance at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, where she combined her skills as a pianist with her natural ability as a vocalist — a defining moment that would shape her future sound.
A Career on Stage
Since graduating in 2007, Georgie has become a regular presence on Australia’s live music scene.
Highlights include performances at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Cabaret Fringe, and Coopers Alive, as well as cabaret shows like A Norah Jones Tribute, A Day In The Life – The Beatles, and À La Georgie Aué — all performed to sold-out audiences.
Her passion for Brazilian jazz shines through in The Brazilian Project, a dedicated celebration of the rhythms and spirit of Brazilian music.
Georgie has performed at notable venues across Australia, including Melbourne’s Paris Cat, Sydney’s El Rocco, and Adelaide’s The Wheatsheaf, captivating audiences with her original music and interpretations.
