After much anticipation, Georgie Aué is releasing her second album, ‘Little Bird’ at the Paris Cat Jazz Club, in a performance that promises serious musical talent and quality entertainment.
Little Bird features the evocative songwriting and musical talents of Georgie Aué. Recorded in Melbourne in late 2017, the album is a collection of original songs gathered over the years since her debut album ‘Washington Road'(2011) with a couple of classic covers thrown into the mix.
Joined by fellow musicians and stalwarts of the Melbourne music scene – Locky Ridge (guitar), Tamara Murphy (bass) and Leo Kavanagh (drums) – the result is a melting pot of musical styles and textures, spun together in a soulful weave of jazz, folk and Brazilian sounds.
